Chequers is proud to partner with Greg McClurkin and the Full Swing Golf Academy, bringing high quality coaching and player development opportunities to our members.
Based right here at Chequers Golf Club, Full Swing Golf Academy is led by one of Australia’s most experienced PGA Professionals. Greg brings a wealth of knowledge and a practical approach to helping golfers of all levels improve their game.
A qualified L.A.W.s instructor, Greg works on the principle of matching the swing to the player’s body type. In simple terms, it’s about building a swing that works for you, not one that fights you every step of the way.
The academy offers a range of services including group clinics, private tuition, and full corporate event management, making it a valuable addition not just for individual golfers but for businesses looking to engage through the game.

Services & Facilities Provided
Enjoy a range of amenities including a pro shop, dining options, and practice areas to enhance your golfing experience.
Dining
Selection of sandwiches and rolls, hot food and meals available on request. Catering for special events and functions also available.
Practice
180m driving range that simulates the narrow width that the course is renowned for. Short game area to practice those all important short sided bunker shots and pitch shots as well as a putting green to give you some much needed feedback to what your about to experience.
Clubhouse
Clubhouse with that country room feel. A lot of history on the walls to explore whilst you enjoy a meal and or beverage.

Special functions or golf days available upon request. Please contact the office staff to learn more.
Dress Code & Club Standards
Collared Shirt tucked into Tailored Pants or Shorts with a belt. Predominately white socks must be worn, black socks with black shoes only. Regulation Golf shoes ( soft spikes only ) No singlets, denim or high vis wear allowed.
Sleeveless collared golf shirts.
Tailored dresses, skirts, skorts and 3/4 pants or leggings provided they are worn with a dress or skirt. Coloured socks that coordinate with golfing attire and are visible above the shoe line.
Right of Way
All work staff have right of way on the golf course.
Please follow directions from all staff.
Failure to comply can result in asking you to leave the premises
Chequers is a fully licensed venue. No BYO is allowed. Those found with breaching liquor licensing requirements will have their alcohol removed and be asked to leave the premises.
